Knowing that we would be going to Five Medals (a history reenactment) this weekend, Mark asked me to take some pictures of gun mechanisms. This one is from a blunderbuss.
And, in Mark style, the outline.
First weekend in a long time that we do not have soccer or other activities scheduled. Looking forward to seeing how much work we can get caught up around the house.
(This picture is from 2013, when we helped around Grandma’s yard)
We noticed the sun shining in the woods and I wanted to attempt some pictures using the reflector. Audrey volunteered to be my model and suggested a bunch of ideas. It was fun trying to get the pictures she wanted.
Smiling after their performance!
Yesterday, Jonathan came over to visit. The kids had fun rolling a ball for him to chase and playing silly little games with him. He moved a lot and played hard!
We knew he was tired, but he would not stop until his Momma came to get him. She left the room for a minute and he burst into tears. Before too long he was snuggled up to Essie and sound asleep!
Of course, I enjoyed the chance to photograph an adorable little boy!
My great nephew came to visit today. He is usually very happy and loves to play with the kids, but we woke him up from his nap accidentally so he was not as cheerful as normal. I loved how his “puppy dog” eyes told us so much!
I was having fun experimenting with shooting toward the setting sun.
