Good Friends

Hiking South Manitou Island 2006

When Allan, Mark and I returned to Indiana after being in Swaziland a few years, Kristi and Dave invited us over for a meal.  We enjoyed our talk and our friendship grew.

Our families still love getting together.  The last week plus we spent some time with the Sellers at Camp Patmos.   Everyone kept busy helping with the weekend retreats, but we still had time to catch up.

My favorite part was having time to talk with Kristi face to face!

Eight!

Happy Birthday to Megan!

Megan is growing up so fast!  She works hard to learn her Bible verses and at math.  She is learning how to bake (she is “famous” for her special peanut butter cookies).

Designing Lego buildings with Adrian is a favorite activities.  She loves to experiment.  Her favorite so far this year has been taking a cutting of some African violets and learning how to grow new plants.  She has a lovely pot of violets that she hopes grows flowers soon.

Happy birthday Megan.  I love you very much!

Giggle

I do not usually release butterflies, but the kids wanted me to.  Megan was supposed to put the butterfly on my hand, but she decided to place it on my nose.  It tickled horribly!

Then the kids all teased me, “your supposed to watch the butterfly Momma”.
