Bed time meant to be in bed. When Daddy was on business trips one night they could stay up as long as they wanted reading as long as they woke up and not be tired the next day.  Rarely did they abuse that privilege and even rarer was that I stayed up longer than they did.  

She still loves to read to learn new things.

While in New York, we were able to explore and visit some fun new places.  Allan saved the best till last. 

As we were getting ready to head home, Allan said that he had a place for us to stop in about two hours.  He took us to Eternal Flame Falls trail in Orchard Park, New York.  The hike was just over a mile and there were a bunch of steps.  We also walked through water part of the way.  

I would enjoy this  hike again if we were in the area.  It was a nice place to stretch our legs before the long drive home.
