When Mark and I have a little time to ourselves, we have been experimenting with different photography ideas.
I discovered this idea, called Bokeh, a little while ago. We are attempting to get pictures with people, but they are not coming out right. We are getting closer though!

Today I had the best tomato grilled cheese sourdough sandwich! It was the best that I have had in a long time. Adrian wants you to guess who made it for me. Hint: It is his first time ever cooking lunch for the family. He did a wonderful job and only burnt himself once. He almost burnt himself twice, but he was more careful the second time. He said he is ok and the burn does not hurt.
Here is his recipe. It is a secret recipe, so please do not share!
Slice sourdough wheat bread. Momma needs to do that cause you might get hurt.Sorry that there is no picture of my wonderful lunch, it tasted too good to wait for a picture.
Oma brought over some patterns and three different fabrics about a month ago. The girls quickly grabbed their favorites and we made their Easter dresses with material that fits their personalities exactly. 
Andrea has dainty pink butterflies. Audrey’s dress has fun loving frogs. And Megan’s dress is cute and bright. We also made each of them a matching purse and matching dresses for their dolls.

The girls helped me practice with my new camera this week. They make wonderful models!
Adrian surprised me today with a beautiful bouquet of flowers for Easter. He even found some of my favorite spring flowers, Forget Me Nots.
Audrey and Adrian decorated a pizza for us tonight. It was not quite time to go into the oven when I discovered that Megan had pulled a stool over and was helping herself!
I have been enjoying learning how to take better pictures. I have also been playing with Gimp and experimenting with what the different functions do. Yesterday at the park, Mark and I experimented with what I have been learning.
We were using some trees to block the sun. Unfortunately, the sun crept around and when we got home, I learned that the sun “snuck” a kiss on Mark’s forehead that was hard to fix. Because I like this picture, I just desaturated the original and got a neat result!
Today, while the other kids went to the dentist, Mark, Megan and I enjoyed the park. We took our cameras, hoping to find some good pictures.
We saw more deer during our walk then we did all last year. We practiced getting pictures of birds and flowers. Then after our “lessons”, we played at the playground.
Mark introduced Megan to the tire swing. She loved it! I was surprised that she did not dizzy or fuss about going around in circles.
