Family Visit
I needed to go to the eye doctor because my glasses were horribly misadjusted. They hurt to put them on. I called to see if my parents were home today and found my brother and Grandma were there too. So we skipped school and went to visit family.
My Grandma is very special. She taught me to sew and how to rip out my sewing mistakes. She taught me how to french braid hair. She still helps me with sewing questions. I always enjoy the time I can talk with her.
Every spring she comes to live with Mom and Dad for the summer. My brother Joe brought her up after enjoying her at his house for awhile. I enjoyed being able to talk to him today and watch him read “Green Eggs and Ham” to Adrian.
What a great way to spend a warm morning, visiting with family!
Robin’s Growing
The Robin baby’s at Grandpa’s house are growing quickly! Less than a week ago they were mostly skin, now their feathers are coming and and they are outgrowing their nest. Soon they will be ready to fly!
Sisters
It is great watching my two girls be great sisters and great friends.
Bored
I was attempting to get some good pictures of the girls in the dresses that I made for them. However, even with the flash they were in too much shade. I will have to try again. But, this picture captured what Adrian thought of it.
Baby Robins
My kids love to find bird eggs. A few weeks ago we climbed a ladder to look at the Robin Eggs in our Japenese Maple Tree. Today, Grandpa showed us the new baby robins who live on the ledge at the side of his house.

Mother’s Day
God has blessed me very richly. No other job could give me the joy of being Momma.
For Mother’s Day, we went camping. It was cold and rainy part of the time, but we had such a fun time together as family. More picture to follow.
Bluebird Babies
Today we went to check on our bluebird babies. Three of the four eggs have hatched. It was so neat! Mark took the picture of the hungry babies.
Adrian kept asking if we saw “Scouts” while we were out. I said that I did not see any and he insisted “yes, you DID.” He saw this picture of the Tree Swallow watching and said “see, there’s the Scout Bird”. I guess I did see some Scouts today.
