We discovered this Bloodroot at the park today. It really is April!

Adrian really needed a haircut, so Audrey offered to do it for him.  

While waiting for everyone to settle down for dinner, the sun was shining in our window just perfectly to show off the steam of our soup.

I have always liked this half in shadows look in photography. Mark has been my model for many attempts. While this is not exactly the look I am wanting, I am happy with the results.

Now to see if he will pose for me again soon.

It is cold enough (and I have time) to finally make ice candles this year.

It was finally cold enough to try frozen bubble pictures yesterday.  Today is cold enough but too windy to try again.

Spring is coming!

This last week we pulled out some old slides and started the challenge of scanning them. It has been so much fun seeing some of our old pictures again and remembering special times.

While visiting in South Africa, our friends, the Rasdales, took us to a lion park. We enjoyed spending the afternoon driving around and admiring many lion families.
