I am not sure what this flower is, the girls picked it along with a white one at a neighbor’s house. I did some research, and I think it might be a Grecian Windflower (Anemone blanda).
It has been fun looking for spring flowers and discovering new ones that we have not noticed before.
The spring flowers are all over our yard. It was fun exploring today, getting muddy while looking for the new flowers.
We have a chipmunk that lives in our rock pile. We know when he is out because he chirps at everything. Just for fun, I sat out in the sun with my dad’s 75-300mm zoom lens playing hide and seek with him.  
I wonder if he prefers walnuts or almonds for the next time I try.

The kids discovered Needle Ice under the swingset yesterday.
The weather has been very mild this week. On Christmas Day, we were outside in long sleeve t-shirts. Some of us were outside without shoes.
Today, we had an ice storm. The weather alternated between rain and ice, but mostly dreary and chilly. I still enjoyed walking around, admiring the way the ice hung on everything.
