Answered Prayer

Snowman

Last night before heading to bed, Megan prayed for snow.  When we got up this morning, I discovered we had two or three inches of perfect packing snow! When Megan woke up and discovered the snow, her eyes got huge!

We don’t usually get packing snow, so it was a wonderful treat.  We took a “two hour delay” and shoveled and then build snow forts, snowmen and snow animals.

I am glad that we delayed school, a lot of snow has melted and we are getting a snow rain mix.  We would have lost the chance to enjoy Megan’s answered prayer.

Little Girl on Swing

Little Girl on SwingI found this picture of  just turned four Audrey recently. When she was little, she almost always had her thumb in her mouth and a band-aid  somewhere.  It was rare that she wasn’t smiling, so she must have been very tired when I took this picture.

Another Study in Blue

AsleepWhen Megan was little, I took a picture of her sleeping on this blue background.  When Mark brought up this blue plaid shirt he loves Megan to wear, I knew I wanted to repeat the “Study in Blue“.

FeetHer shirt is the matching one from two years ago (we had bought matching ones for Mark and Andrea when they were tiny). I had thought to change her into overalls, but I like the jeans.  She still sleeps like a toddler, but that is changing too.

I am especially proud of these pictures.  I have been attempting to use M (manual) on my camera and these are the first pictures that I did using light from the window and all the settings set manually without any help.Sleep
