Yesterday, the kids cut me a few Daffodils. After dinner was cleaned up and the lights turned off, the candlelit Daffodils looked so pretty.

Megan and the Hat
Megan has not been feeling well the last few days. Sunday, the sun was out, it was warm and we went outside. Megan wore a hat to keep the wind out of her ears. You can tell by her eyes that she is not feeling the best, but being outside cheered Megan up and she enjoyed herself very much!

That Time of Year
It is that time of year for Chalk People! Hooray, I love the creativity! These were designed by Adrian.
Shades of Maple
We are finished making Maple Syrup and sugar for the year. We made three batches of sugar–over 5 pounds– and more than a gallon of syrup. I can’t say exactly how much, because we ate a lot 😉
Each boiling turned out different colors of Maple treats. The taste is slightly different, but we like them all!
Just for Fun
On Saturday, just for fun, we tried getting some fun six month pictures of Megan. The necklace is compliments of Audrey, who thought her sister needed to look like a girl!
What a Difference Clothes Can Make!
Yesterday, Audrey went to church “looking like Sunshine” as a friend commented. She wore a bright yellow dress with a bright hair bow. When we got home, she changed into her favorite jeans (a bright colorful pair), shirt and took the bow out of her hair. I was amazed at the difference!

New Trick
This evening Megan discovered that her feet taste good!
Today’s Smile–Six Months Old
Megan is six months old now! Last night for dinner, Allan dipped his finger in the vinegar and gave it to Megan. Her reaction was wonderful!
At six months, Megan can sit up for a short while. She “talks” a lot. She is heading to bed earlier (no more night owl, Hooray!) but still not until after 10:00. She is trying to roll over, but has not figured out what to do with her arm. Megan also loves to play with siblings, especially during school when they need to finish some work.
