Mark left this really neat leaf on my car’s dashboard for me to discover today.

Good Friends
When Allan, Mark and I returned to Indiana after being in Swaziland a few years, Kristi and Dave invited us over for a meal. We enjoyed our talk and our friendship grew.
Our families still love getting together. The last week plus we spent some time with the Sellers at Camp Patmos. Everyone kept busy helping with the weekend retreats, but we still had time to catch up.
My favorite part was having time to talk with Kristi face to face!
Eight!
Megan is growing up so fast! She works hard to learn her Bible verses and at math. She is learning how to bake (she is “famous” for her special peanut butter cookies).
Designing Lego buildings with Adrian is a favorite activities. She loves to experiment. Her favorite so far this year has been taking a cutting of some African violets and learning how to grow new plants. She has a lovely pot of violets that she hopes grows flowers soon.
Happy birthday Megan. I love you very much!

Happy birthday to Andrea!
Andrea has been a joy to watch grow up. She is a lovely young woman who is not afraid to work hard or get dirty. She works hard at school. She loves to help others. (She is a much better cook than I will ever be!)
I am looking forward to what God has planned for her.

Potato Creek
Mark and Allan both had a few days off while the older girls were gone. We enjoyed spending the day at Potato Creek.
We took a picnic lunch and then went exploring in the woods, looking for bald eagles and, for the first time ever, let the kids play on the beach. It was a fun, and very tiring afternoon!
